Terms of Service

1. 18+ only, no exceptions

You've gotta be at least 18 to use this site, make an account or place an order. By using Billy Mate you're confirming you're 18 or over. Our products are accessories meant for use with legal products only. We can refuse or cancel any order and ask you to verify your age at any time.

2. Your account

Keep your account details and password to yourself - you're responsible for everything that happens under your account. Give us accurate, current info, and give us a hoy if you spot any dodgy activity.

3. Products, pricing & availability

We do our best to describe and price everything spot-on, but the odd slip-up happens. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where it applies. We can fix errors, change prices, or limit or pull products at any time. If we cancel an order over a pricing or stock stuff-up, you get a full refund of anything you've paid.

4. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We've got a deal once we accept it and send it on its way. We may refuse or cancel an order - including for suspected fraud, stock issues, or if we can't confirm you're 18 - and we'll refund anything already paid.

5. Paying by card & the odd verification check

Paying by credit card? Every now and then, just to make sure a card's being used by the person it belongs to, we'll ask you to verify your payment. All we need is the exact amount that was charged to your card - you can grab that straight from your banking app or statement. We will never ask for your card number, CVV/security code, expiry date or any other private details, and you should never hand those to us or anyone claiming to be us. If a card's been used by someone who isn't the owner, they won't be able to tell us the exact amount - simple as that. Genuine customers check their statement, give us the figure, and we get the order moving.

6. Billy Bucks & rewards

• Billy Bucks are a loyalty reward with no cash value - they can't be swapped for cash.
• They're non-transferable and may expire or be adjusted in line with the rewards rules.
• We can change, pause or end the Billy Bucks program, or fix balances knocked about by error, fraud or a cheeky rort.

7. Auctions

Bids in our auctions are binding offers to buy. Win it and you agree to pay the winning amount plus any shipping. We may pull bids or cancel an auction where we've got fair reason to suspect an error, manipulation or fraud.

8. Play nice

Don't misuse the site - no messing with how it runs or its security, no using it unlawfully, and no posting unlawful, abusive or infringing content in the Shed or reviews. We can remove content and suspend accounts that break these terms.

9. Consumer guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. See the Returns & Refunds policy for how those apply.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows - and other than the consumer guarantees that can't be excluded - our liability from your use of the site or a purchase is limited to resupplying the goods or refunding their price. We're not on the hook for indirect or consequential loss.

11. Intellectual property

The Billy Mate name, logo, artwork, characters (yeah, that's us) and site content are ours or used under licence, and can't be copied or used without our say-so.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms now and then. The current version always lives on this page, and keeping on using the site means you're across the changes.

13. Governing law

These terms run under the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the courts of that state.
