How to Clean a Glass Bong the Right Way

Cloudy glass and harsh hits? Here's how to get your bong crystal clear in under 10 minutes, the Billy Mate way.
There's nothing worse than pulling a harsh, cloudy cone because the glass hasn't seen a clean in a fortnight. Good news, getting your bong looking (and hitting) like new takes about ten minutes and a couple of the right bits. Here's how we do it.
Resin build-up isn't just ugly. It dulls the flavour, chokes your airflow and traps bacteria you really don't want near your lungs. A clean piece means smoother pulls, cleaner taste and a healthier session and if you do it weekly it never turns into a big job.
- A quality bong cleaner
- Warm (not boiling) water
- A brush for the tricky spots
- Two minutes of patience
- Tip out the old water and give it a rinse.
- Add your cleaner and warm water.
- Cover the openings and give it a good shake.
- Work a brush into any stubborn spots.
- Rinse thoroughly with fresh water until there's no smell left.
That's it - clear glass, smooth hits, happy days.
